Job Description

This position will most likely be a 2nd shift position which would require working weekends and holidays.

The general labor candidate will potentially train in all functions of the cooler.

Loading trucks, unloading trucks and performing general plant sanitation.

Previous experience in cooler and/or warehouse environment preferred. Position will likely require second shift hours to include weekends and most holidays.

Loads/unloads stacks and moves items as assigned.

May sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units.

May mark or put identifying labels on product loads.

May record movement of stock in/out of work areas.

Monitors materials, products and equipment at each step of process and reports irregularities to supervisor.

Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and stretch and reach with hands and arms.

The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee is required to talk or hear.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently push and/or pull up to 275 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must have full range body motion.


Preferably have previous tow motor experience, have the ability to work in a damp, wet atmosphere and walk and stand on feet for majority of shift.
