Job Description
Market-leading top quality Hilton franchised extended stay property seeking General Manager. The General Manager will guide property operations to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in five key areas:
1. Guest Service
2. Employee Composition and Morale
3. Sales Marketing
4. Property Cleanliness and Maintenance, and
5. Financial Results
The General Manager will also coordinate, direct and manage the staff and everyday hotel operations to achieve profitability and efficiency while maintaining ownership standards and assuring 100 guest satisfaction.
You will work with the Director of Sales and the Controller to meet revenue and expense objectives and you will report directly to ownership. Activities include participation in the budget and marketing plan formulation. The General Manager will also assist with sales calls, labor and physical standards, property level expenses, employee motivation and direction, resolve guest related issues in a manner consistent with property goals, monitoring collection of in-house guest balance, direct bill receivables, commission payment by vendors and issue refunds. Additional responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, and rewarding and disciplining employees.
