To oversee the day-to-day sales and operations of a specific BridgeStreet market, under the direction of and working closely with a Regional Director.
The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the company s market level operations while delivering a relentless approach and focus to our Teammates, the guest experience and pursuit of revenue.
As the senior member of the market s management team, the position is results oriented, requiring knowledge and experience in a wide variety of disciplines.
Building and maintaining a strong teamwork relationship and atmosphere with both the Market Office and Home Office staff.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with major corporate clients through appointments and relationship building.
Leading the sales team and implementing process and strategy as directed by Regional Director of Sales.
Maintaining a strong relationship with apartment owners and managers, including the execution of apartment leases and rate and term negotiations
Maintaining a strong relationship with furniture leasing companies
Developing and maintaining vendor/partner relationships.
Maintaining a high profile in the market through community activity and public relations.
Reporting and Communication:
Submit weekly and monthly reports to various departments.
Hold weekly staff meetings to ensure the proper and consistent flow of information.
Meet weekly with Regional Director to discuss and implement action plans for the market.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
1. Sales and Guest Experience
7. Communication, Management and Leadership
Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience is required.
Hospitality and/or Corporate Housing certification preferred
Formal management training is preferred.
Travel (approx): Local travel required as needed (25%).
Number of Employees supervised (approx): 5 - 10
