We have a career opportunity for a General Manager of Food Services to join the Sodexo team at CHI St. Lukes Health Sugar Land Hospital. This position reports to the District Manager and will be responsible for day to day leadership of the food and nutrition services in a 100 bed acute care hospital. Sodexo provides best in class services for patient dining, retail café operations and onsite catering services. As our General Manager, your responsibilities will include: Full utilization of the Market Connection, UFS, Kronos ETime and FMS Manage the day to day food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café and onsite catering services Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team Provide excellent customer service for all catering clients and achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction Be responsible for the human resources management of the staff including hiring, scheduling, training, performance evaluations and all other additional staff human resources responsibilities Achieving company and client financial targets and goals Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation and overall workplace safety standards Focus on achieving continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores Meet (or exceed) Sodexo standards of operations Take on additional duties as assigned The ideal candidate qualifications include proficiency in the use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory; proven financial acumen and P&L experience, proven success managing food and labor costs, developing department operating budgets and possess a strong focus on building and maintaining positive client relations. Experience with CMS and Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance requirements. Preferred qualifications include Certified Dietary Manager credential or RD.
