The general clerk must be able to perform effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment supporting a variety of clerical and administrative functions for the Department. General office duties include but not limited to answering and directing calls, scheduling appointments, mail distribution, copying, faxing, scanning, preparing packets, data entry, and ordering of office supplies a little of AP & AR will be helpful but not required. Must maintain files both electronically and manually.Will enter data into a computer system or database as well as verify the accuracy of the data entered. Must demonstrate ability to learn and continue learning new systems and willingness to take on additional responsibilities; Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team as needed and follow-up towards the successful completion of assigned tasks.
