Scope of Work:
The Generator Technician - Class B will use their knowledge of generators and engines to complete PM maintenance on standby generators, read wiring schematics and wire simple projects. Work and learn from others. Provide your own tools. Must be able to perform duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:
Performs work to include maintenance/repairs on generators and associated controls.
Completes proper time cards and service reports on a daily basis.
Updates and reviews personal knowledge of all changes and variations of the generators and controls sold and serviced by WPI.
Keeps all services updates available for reference.
Attends service schools and training programs offered by WPI.
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 1 year previous experience.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a working knowledge of generators/engines and be able to complete PM maintenance with little supervision.
Provide your own hand tools and pneumatic accessories.
Have a basic knowledge of Ohms Law and Power Formula.
Trade school or special training preferred.
