Department: Transitional Care Services
The Geriatric Nursing Assistant will perform non-professional services to patients/residents of the TCU. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant will provide resident care services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients/residents of the TCU and retrieves supplies from secure area. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant function may not exceed the standards of practice set forth by the certification process.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must possess successful completion of a Geriatric Nursing Assistant course approved by the State of Maryland. Must be certified as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant. Must possess current BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Temp Pool Day/Night Rotation High school diploma or equivalent is required Certification Required Licensure Required Customer service skills are required
