JOB DESCRIPTIONGIFT PROCESSING COORDINATOR Pay Up to $31,200

Gift and Data Entry Tasks
This position performs a broad range of responsibilities within OCA including gift processing, data related entry operation, and donor/financial/statistical reporting. Following are a listing of gift and data entry tasks identified as essential functions to fulfill the temporary position of Gift Processing Coordinator.
-Enter gifts and pledges to the College on a daily basis and create receipts to mail to donors. Types of gifts entered include cash, credit card, and securities.
-Enter phonathon pledge commitments to the College.
-Research and determine the accurate gift value of securities given to the College.
-Receive, credit and verify accuracy of all gifts and payments toward various pledges and expectancies.
-Gift and pledge information is processed from several forms ? online gift transmittals, donations mailed to the college, electronic fund transfers, and gifts of security transfers.
-Prepare daily and weekly gift reports.
-Manage and maintain demographic information for college constituents based on information received from remit envelopes, phonathon call sheets, call reports, contractual data providers, screening vendors, various College publications and mailings, etc. Perform quarterly NCOA address updates.
-Assist with data uploads and reports as needed.
-Maintain a work station that keeps confidential information secure and maintain confidential files.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment.
-Strong mathematical aptitude.
-Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new programs and software.
-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
-Ability to recognize and resolve data or operations inconsistencies.
-Ability to handle frequent interruptions, meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
-Preferred (but not required) experience with gift entry and/or data entry tasks.
-Preferred (but not required) experience in working with data and reports.
-Preferred (but not required) experience in working with databases and/or familiarity with Jenzabar CX.
Education and Experience
Minimum of two years of College or accounting course work or equivalent work experience.
The regular hours of this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with a one hour unpaid meal period).
