JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Promotes and helps facilitate new business opportunities, global and domestic, within various OEM's. Cooperates with the Domestic OEM KAM's and focuses efforts on Global Growth, Global Transactions and Global Strategies.
Works closely with customers to assess their global needs and strategically finds ways to incorporate Company product on current, and new applications. Works closely with customers to build relationships and find innovative solutions incorporating and customizing the Global Sales Strategy to meet customer demands.
Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing Company product. Advantages can be found using Lab and Acoustic studies, Body Sealing studies, exhibits and many other techniques explained in the Sales Strategy.
Provides technical training and presentations to clients and communicates customer feedback internally for future product development ideas.
Negotiates pricing based on current bargaining situation and future value costing. Works with Import/Export Duties and Taxes, Logistics, and coordinate best Company location to service the customer and provide globally competitive pricing.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, develop san shin and operates with a wide degree of discretion, creativity, and latitude.
May lead and direct the work of others, including but not limited to Engineers, Designers, Supply Chain Management, 3rd party logistics companies, Freight Forwarders, Quality Personnel and othersales associates with Company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support China, India and other Company locations with information sharing, new opportunities, design aspects and general selling knowledge.
Introduce and promote globally Company Sealing/NVH/Acoustic products.
Act as a liaison between USA Team and Global Company Teams. Act as a liaison between Engineering Teams.
Manage quoting, sampling, and quality issues for customers overseas.
Support Launches for OEM's in other regions. Participate in Company Global activities, Teams and Task Forces.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS, MS, M.E. Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree; Minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bi-lingual preferred, English-Chinese and /or Japanese
