JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Global Benefits Manager
The Global Benefits Manager is responsible for the establishment of overall global benefit strategies for a broad spectrum of employees across multiple levels within a global environment, conducting analysis and overseeing the design and development of plan changes as necessary to ensure competitive and cost effective benefit plans on a global basis. This role works closely with vendors, partners, consultants and the International HR leaders to ensure benefit plans are competitive, compliant and meet service level standards, also working with HR partners to ensure seamless migration of plans and programs from development state to implementation.
Leads the design, strategy, annual planning and implementation of the company s global benefit programs, including health, welfare and retirement programs (both defined benefit and defined contribution), executive benefits and any wellness initiatives
Monitors benefit performance and identifies areas where new benefit plans can improve the quality of existing benefit services
Ensures all programs are progressive, competitive, cost effective, high quality, equitable and flexible, providing detailed financial analysis, reviews and reporting on all benefit plans
In conjunction with the Director of Global Total Rewards and the VP of HR, develops annual operating plans and budget for all Benefit Programs
Monitors and analyzes trends and issues related to benefits and the global external market, such as government regulations, market data/surveys, competitive practices, etc. to forecast the impact on ANSYS and implements initiatives to proactively respond
Manages administrative and service vendors including contract renewals and compliance, issues management, communications frequency, schedule and approach; may also assist in resolution of escalated benefit issues
Oversees annual domestic enrollment project plan including milestones, tasks, timeline and resources
Establishes all standard policies for administration and communication of all benefit programs
JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or closely related field and 6 years experience, or equivalent gained through education and experience, in the disciplines outlined above
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, project management, vendor management and staff management experience
Detail oriented self-starter with excellent communication/organizational skills
Ability to initiate and handle multiple priority projects concurrently
Requires a minimum of 10% travel both domestically and internationally
At least 2 years prior international benefits experience with multi-national companies is preferred
HRIS Systems knowledge preferred
