Job Description

Act as a member of the HR Team responsible for support of the Human Resources functionality of SAP R/3 and other related applications including the design and configuration of the SAP R/3 HR module, Organizational management, Personnel Administration and HR Master Data, SAP security module. Perform workin a cross-functional, team environment. Support the current US centric implementation of SAP HR and the design and implementation of a global HR enterprise solution. Team-oriented participation in the execution of all phases of the system development life cycle, including a) requirements gathering, b) writing technical specifications, c) system configuration, d) prototyping application design, e) production rollout, f) maintenance and g) related training. Provide integrated data, systems and technology solutions in support of business and regulatory requirements. Act as project manager on projects and provides leadership for activities within HR reporting. Apply expertise in overall Human Resources functional process, including use of SAP and all complementary tools. Apply knowledge of SAP transactions in support of the functional business process teams and site teams. Use the approved support methodology to assure all assigned problem and change tickets are resolved by the assigned completion date. Provide appropriate documentation and maintain system integrity by following proper validation, testing and documentation to meet support requirements. Provide project management leadership in coordinating development requests and act as a single interface to SAP Developers. Guide users and the Human Resources organization in a consulting role and act as the single point of contact to the entire IT organization. Provide technical leadership in the HR community and assist in the alignment of business activities. Manage enhancements, support packages and upgrade projects by working with end users in gathering detailed requirements, analyzing business processes, design, configuration, documentation and testing using Global Execution Framework methodology.
Troubleshoot system problems and perform SAP HR configuration to resolve production issues.
Assist with the training of users on HR business systems. Perform all of the foregoing using system design lifecycle methodology and Six Sigma methodology. Communicate results in both written (using Microsoft Office applications) and verbal presentations to various levels of management and peers. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field and 3 years experience in job offered or 3 years experience as a Sr. SAP HR Consultant or any other job title performing all listed job duties.
