Global Channel Account Manager
Growing laser manufacturing company is looking for a Global Channel Account Manager to add to their team.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for developing and managing channel partner (dealer/distributor) accounts to achieve company sales targets. Ideal candidates for this position will possess a high degree of technical and business expertise. This position requires the ability to comprehend basic laser/optics technology and the unique features of our product offerings in order to clearly and effectively articulate our value proposition to channel partners in our global sales network.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and sustain effective collaborative partnerships with channel partners by coaching, advising, motivating and monitoring their progress in achieving revenue targets.
Build relationships with channel partners to overcome obstacles, develop effective Sales/Marketing plans and create a company first focus in their sales efforts.
Align channel partners sales and marketing tactics with the company's strategic direction.
Facilitate communication and cooperation between Channel Partners and company's support departments.
Provide weekly business and revenue updates to the company management team.
Create and submit regular sales forecast, market traction, and lead follow up reports to Director.
Work closely with Business Development team to help identify and select channel partner recruitment locations.
Provide timely weekly activity reports.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have minimum of 5+ years' B2B technical sales or sale management experience, with at least 2 years sales channel development experience.
Demonstrated success in establishing and building strong collaborative business partnerships with channel partners through positive negotiations and problems solving.
Possess excellent organizations and follow up skills.
Must have experience in creating and sustaining strong profitability and business results within a successful organization.
