Be at the center of a global leader in full-service engineering, consulting, construction and operations. Our Global IT Application Manager is a senior level technical leader responsible for development, implementation and support of the company???s enterprise application environment. Summary: Leads and mentors the enterprise application support team in developing the tactical and long term strategies for the design, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise applications. Owner of the Software Release Management role working with business partners and peers within the IT department to implement changes into production environments. Provide first class customer service and excellent communication working with business partners and IT staff. Support the technology teams across all geographic regions and business units with Tier 3 escalation support. Demonstrate a high level of urgency to resolve tactical and project initiatives within service level objectives and budget. Manages change control and system downtime maintenance activities for enterprise applications.KEY DUTIES:Lead a team of highly skilled development professionals supporting global applications. Develop our Enterprise Content Management systems according to our business processes.Manages all application support issues (Tier 3) in coordination with other IT teams.Work with IT teams to formalize processes related to software configuration release management.Provide training for IT teams in other support groups.Assigned secondary responsibilities for specific systems support.Responsible for H/R duties of GITA group.Responsible for managing team resources related to Application Support projects.Our Global IT Application Manager:Posseses a strong knowledge of software release management processes.Has global experience in leading an application support staff.Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010.Strong knowledge of SQL Server Report Services.Strong leadership and communication skills in a technology team.Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.Strong knowledge of project delivery methodology.Extremely detailed-oriented.Excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize and communicate effectively with non-technical users.Results-oriented and committed to operational excellence.Basic knowledge of web development, i.e. HTML, XML, JavaScript
