The Associate Director will provide marketing leadership for a Phase III asset in the Global Product Strategy group by leading various components around strategic assessment, tactical planning and execution of operational plans. This role is critical to the organization as our asset is meant to change the standard of care globally and become a block-buster offering globally. The position requires a dynamic individual, credible and with a creative vision to lead a broad team of individuals. This individual must be able to think strategically, be highly collaborative, an analytical problem solver and execute plans with excellence. This individual will work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across the organization in order to ensure we have an aligned approach globally, regionally and locally.
Analyze global market-place and problem solve across the cross functional team to identify opportunities but also challenges that we must scenario plan around to ensure we are able to maintain our Leadership Position for the Franchise
Develop strategic plans that enable us to meet our overall brand strategy
Identify elements to shape the market to changing the standard of care in the Community, at large globally
Collectively align with colleagues globally to ensure our approach meets the needs of our global stakeholders
Develop a clear ability to communicate and articulate thoughts to senior leadership
Identify all risks and develop contingency plans based on different market scenarios
Develop tactical plans that will ensure we will meet our overall objectives to preparing the market for a new standard of care
Analyze and interpret research results to better understand how to shape the market and increase uptake
Lead the fundamental building blocks of launch planning including: messaging, positioning, value proposition development, patient journey, patient and physician segmentation
Lead sub-teams throughout the Global Marketing Team including global value team, global commercial team and global brand team
Identify critical success factors for the local country teams in order to ensure successful launch planning
Management of Launch Readiness Plan
Identification of critical success factors and monitor / track uptake
Collaborate with HAE Global Marketing to ensure Franchise alignment of positioning cross all brands
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a BS / BA required, MBA preferred
6+ yrs experience in pharmaceuticals, including country and global marketing experience
Prior rare disease marketing preferred
Product planning and launch planning preferred
Demonstrated skills in strategy formation, complex cross functional problem solving and analytical thinking & interpretation
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Estimated internal travel up to 30% required
