Job Description
Our Client is in the process of deploying Oracle's R12 Services solution globally and this position is responsible for supporting all aspect of the application, both the custom components and the vendor components.
Requirements:
Must have r12 experience
Need experience managing an R12 deployment, preferably a global deployment
Experience working w/in a PMO
Up to 10% travel
Our Client's Service Delivery environment will be a single global instance of Oracle EBusiness Suite Release 12. The application footprint includes the following Oracle CRM modules: Tele-service, Field Service, i-Support, Advanced Scheduler, Mobile Field Service, Spares Management, Depot Repair, Advanced Inbound Telephony, E-mail Center, and existing Service Logistics modules (Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Bill of Material, Work in Process, Purchasing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets). It is the responsibility of the System Support Manager to ensure all issues reported by the business are managed effectively by the team. This position will also ensure the solution is highly available and will include all aspects for disaster recovery planning/execution. Key Areas of Responsibilities (general):
Manage Applications support of business critical applications specifically the implementation of the Oracle R12 EBusiness suite
Provide management oversight through regular status and issues reviews in conjunction with the ES Project Management Office (PMO).
Provide management reporting and presentations on environment uptime and ticket resolution
High Availability SLA, Disaster Recovery planning and testing, environment hardware planning and distribution
Interlocks with the DBA organization on standards, best practices, and strategy including.
Work closely with vendors to ensure timely resolution of defects and understand product roadmaps
Capacity monitoring and planning
Resource Management; train, mentor and develop the system support team.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements (general):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
10 years experience with Oracle e-Business Suite.
5 years experience leading a support organization
Experience working in large matrixed environments with offshore teams and outsourced application development/support teams
Experience working/managing vendors for production support and development projects
Strong Analytical, Testing, and Problem Solving skills, with attention to detail.
3+ years experience with SQL, strong relational database skills.
People management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication with different levels of the organization.
Previous experience working for a global organization.
