TThis role will support development and execution of the Vascular portfolio strategic, commercialization and globalization initiatives.
This individual will play a key role in the development and execution of a comprehensive global product, program, service and brand framework to optimize the company s overall portfolio. The Product Manager applies broad knowledge of company s capabilities, market and competitive environment and strategic marketing skills to validate customer requirements and identify additional product and portfolio optimization opportunities, new technology and emerging product/service/channel opportunities.
This individual will execute key voice-of-customer (VOC) workstreams for portfolio optimization and margin improvement projects and identify any additional opportunities for portfolio management optimization. This role may also support associated content marketing and channel alignment for execution of new product launches as assigned by manager.
The position must work collaboratively across all company functions with special emphasis on Research & Development, Sustaining Engineering, Global Operations and Supply Chain Management, as well as within the parallel marketing functions of Global and Regional Marketing teams, Strategic Programs and Service, and Marketing Communications.
In order to successfully support projects resulting in improved profitability, this individual must be able to champion customer perspective while balancing business and technology needs, effectively communicate with and persuade a global cross-functional leadership team, understand the global portfolio and execute detailed project plans.

Lead VOC activities on multiple, platform-wide portfolio optimization and margin improvement projects including primary and secondary research
Work effectively with market research vendors to create and excute on project plans
Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis and recommend new opportunities for optimization
Lead cross-geographic and cross-functional team(s) to optimize portfolio
Supports the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product and platform optimization opportunities
Initiaties in-depth market/portfolio analysis and supports business case development for optimization of existing or future product categories
Works with colleagues to drive consensus on product portfolio decisions across global geographies and franchises
Assist, explore and validate potential new technologies and supplier opportunities aligned to business and customer needs
Assist with global strategy, portfolio management and messaging platform for Vascular franchise(s) with commercial region partners and execute against respective regional and category plans
Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Four (4) year university degree required
Advanced degrees and certifications, preferred
Minimum 3 years of progressive product and/or marketing management experience in the medical device or similar industry
5+ years of functional experience in marketing, strategy and analysis, portfolio management, project management, operations, finance, or regulatory affairs preferred
Global experience with the ability to interact with international markets
SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to drive focus, prioritization and effective time / project management

Understand global medical regulatory landscape & awareness of geographical differences

Demonstrate practical application of successful marketing / business / portfolio management concepts and methodologies, as well as assessment tools, practices and techniques
Knowledge of measurement and analysis of commercial effectiveness
Unquestionable ethics and integrity
Exhibit skills and knowledge in public speaking, human relations, collaborative leadership and education trends
Excellent relationship building and collaborative skills

Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
