The Global Product Manager executes on product strategy by using expertise and knowledge of the market, competitors, and partners to support revenue growth targets. They grow market share and generate revenue for their product portfolio, including packaging, pricing, promotion, and placement. The Senior Manager works closely with senior leaders to develop and execute the product marketing strategy and plan, including integrated marketing communication plans, value proposition development, product positioning and messaging, pricing and bundling, market segmentation and targeting, and marketing launch plans and campaigns. Success for the Senior Product Manager is measured by achieving market success for assigned products within a specified timeframe and budget.
Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional core teamsDefine business requirements for productsCommunicate overall product strategy to various entities within the company Provide program management for initial customer launches to refine the process and understand resources and costsEnsure all development and launch activities are completed such as documentation, support plans, and marketing launch plansTrain Sales on products and new featuresTrain Support on products and new featuresDefine and advance products from concept to development to market launchesReview support/helpdesk knowledgebase articlesDrive integration with the companys other products Provide cost analysis to support pricingReview competitors products and perform feature gap analysisWork closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, R&D, Operations and partnersProvide technical presentations and product demonstrations at customer briefings, industry conferences, industry analyst briefings, and other public-speaking forumsIdentify future growth areas in the market
Education:Bachelors degreeMBA preferredCertification in Product Management NPDP or PDMA certification preferred
Experience:8 years of product management or similar full life cycle software product delivery experience including:Defining, launching, and managing a successful technology productManaging partner relationshipsCollaboration technologiesUser path mapping
