Job Description
Regular/Temporary: Regular
Monitor and summarize tax withholding and related regulatory changes in international markets of investment. Recommend and coordinate the implementation of operational and system adjustments necessary to implement changes. Conduct research and work closely with others across the organization to accomplish project objectives. Act as technical resource for the tax department, business units and clients. Work with tax advisors, regulators, public accounting firms and subcustodians on tax matters of various complexity levels. Develop and maintain tax reference and research tools.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical resource for the tax department, business units and clients.
- Provide client service supporting fund groups, external clients and global site partners.
- Work with tax advisors, regulators, public accounting firms, and subcustodians on tax matters.
- Monitor and summarize tax withholding and related regulatory changes.
- Assist in recommending and coordinating operational and system adjustments necessary to implement changes.
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research and work closely with others across the organization to accomplish project objectives.
- Develop and maintain tax reference and research tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree and 2-3 years of related experience. Requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must be able to multi task, as well as prioritize and independently accomplish all responsibilities. Technical and operational knowledge of tax regulations, market practices, client and fund legal structures and securities instruments is preferred.
