Our client is a manufacturing firm located in Denver, Colorado seeking a global sourcing manager for their sourcing team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a strong team, with a reputable supply chain group, driving supplier development as well as managing supplier relations through relationship-building and data analysis. Qualified candidates for the position will have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or a closely related field with 5 or more years’ experience in commodity-specific sourcing and supplier management as well as knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. If you are a supply chain and sourcing professional seeking a challenging role in a fast-paced, innovative environment please apply! br   br As a Global Sourcing Manager your responsibilities will include: br • Use continuous improvement and cost reduction methodologies in identifying areas to improve supplier base, develop new suppliers br • Develop and create supply chain and sourcing metrics and measurements, as using these tools important to role br • Create improvement plans br • Evaluate and perform analysis on supply base risk br • Identify cost reduction opportunities and realize through cost negotiations and process changes br • Perform some audits in accordance with ISO and FDA QSR Standards br • Perform supplier contract initiation, review and approval br • Perform quality tracking and measurement br • R&D new supplier development br • Provide operational and production support with key suppliers as needed br • Work across divisions on supplier development br • Assist in setting supplier expectations, and drive supplier development to meet KPIs and expectations br • Identify creative approaches to managing supplier relationships br Your Qualifications: br • 5 years or more of supplier management, sourcing, partially or all in commodity specific setting br • Experience developing and analyzing supplier metrics, using continuous improvement and cost reduction methodologies in identifying areas of supplier improvement br • Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or an analytical field of study, Master’s in Supply Chain or MBA strongly preferred br • Supplier and project management experience required, project management certifications a plus br • Experience in quality system standards strongly preferred, FDA, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 br • Demonstrated negotiation and relationship management skills br • Knowledge of supplier contract terms and processes br • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and cost reduction methodologies br • Proficiency in ERP and supplier management IT systems, Oracle, SAP, iSupply or similar programs br • Proven success in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment br • Ambitious, go-getter attitude br • Exceptional communication skills br • Ability to work collaboratively within team, and cross-functionally br   br   br If you have a passion for sourcing and supplier development and
