Job Title:Global Supply Management, (GSM), Category Management Manager

Day to Day Work

At Unisys you will be part of a talented Global Category Management & Procurement team that manages all aspects of worldwide procurement. The preferred location for this position is Blue Bell, PA, however, this position can be home based giving it the flexibility to be filled anywhere in the Continental US.

This position will focus on change management to control spending, improve the utilization of preferred suppliers, and to move the sourcing activities early in the procurement lifecycle in order to bring greater value to Unisys. Additionally, this role will have responsibility to understand the detailed picture of the IT software category supply chains and to ensure that effective and efficient solutions are implemented with a single-mindedness toward creating a competitive advantage for Unisys. This position requires strong business judgment and financial acumen, expert market knowledge of the category with management skills to meet deadlines and timelines.

- Interface with Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services (GOIS), Technology, Consulting and Integration Solutions (TCIS), Unisys Information Technology (UIT), Federal Systems to gather requirements and consolidate Software needs
- Interface with vendors to communicate Global Information Technology Outsourcing Solutions (GITOS) needs and select the best partners for the Business needs
- Work with GITOS to select vendors and establish strategic partnerships based on technology and financial fit
- Establish performance expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the selected vendors
- Monitor vendor performance and coordinate with the business to manage improvements.
- Manage Unisys' preferred technology and vendor lists to ensure compliance.
- Gather contractual requirements for Software usage (i.e. internal use, resale) and negotiate appropriate, consistent best terms to satisfy business needs
- Create, maintain and ensure compliance to a global, preferred technology and supplier list (i.e. Standard Tools Committee leadership)
- Create and manage Software asset management system and process to avoid audit deficiencies and penalties.

Skills/Experience:

- Bachelors degree required
- MBA and understanding of contract labor, solid technical and statistical background is preferred
- 5-10 years experience in Supply Chain/Planning, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing and Financial Analysis.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in contract negotiation.
- Experience in following areas:
o Internal Collaboration and External Negotiation
o Development of Supply Agreements
o Cash Flow Analysis
o Project Management.
- Experience in vendor evaluation and score-carding.
- Experience in presentation to senior management
- Experience in working with the following software: Microsoft Office suite of products (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Experience of contract development and business law is required.
- Experience with e-procurement is preferred.
- Experience as a supplier or process owner of contract labor functions is a plus.
