* The Governance Excellence team is responsible for the end-to-end cross functional oversight and continuity of best practices in Business Continuity and Risk, Compliance & Ethics, and Technical. This team drives improvements across our Supply sites, and within the Operational Excellence team. Delivering creative programs for improving and sustaining compliance, and measuring the effectiveness, is paramount.This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of reporting, improvement initiatives, and analytical duties supporting the broader Operational Excellence team.

* Purpose of Role:

* Deliver reporting, analytical and general oversight to measure the effectiveness of our Governance programs. The role will have direct interaction with the Operational Excellence leadership team, NA Supply stakeholders, Global Supply and key contacts within Demand. Ensure compliance of Business Continuity Plans for NA Supply and Demand against Global Standards.

* As part of the end-to-end supply chain, NA Supply has an extensive network of wholly owned and Third-Party Operation sites across the US and Canada. In North America, Diageo owns and operates a network of manufacturing, bottling, distilling and warehousing sites. NA Technical is an organization of 150+ team members, operating across several locations within the US and Canada.

* Key Deliverables:
+ Reporting:
On time delivery of standard Governance monthly reporting, and ad hoc reporting as needed. Insight-driven action planning based off of analysis.+ Innovative Tools:
Implement new tools to drive awareness and engagement (for example, technology-based Compliance & Ethics to put key information at our fingertips).+ System Admin:
Administration of Governance systems (Entropy, Academy, eQMS, etc).+ Assessment:
Auditing of programs to ensure adherence to standard processes, controls and CARM requirements.+ Continuous Improvement:
Develops, implements and ensures efficient onboarding programs for OpEx team members and NA Supply Governance functions.+ Compliance:
Subject matter expert for Code of Business Conduct. Ensures compliance throughout Supply and Demand against Global Business Continuity Standard.

* Qualifications and Experience Required:

*
* + Position requires a BS in Business Administration, Finance, or a technical field relevant to consumer package goods (packaging, food science, etc.).+ 2+ years of experience within a CPG firm, preferably in beverage alcohol.+ Strong technical depth and performance management skills, dynamic cross-functional interaction, and highly effective project management, communication, and negotiation skills.Essential Skills:
+ Strong ability to utilize MS Office (mastery in Microsoft Excel).+ Enthusiastic interest in new technology.+ Robust problem analysis and solving skills.+ Proficient at data analysis, especially with identifying the drivers for data trends.+ Effective presentation and stakeholder management skills.+ Ability to influence and motivate a multi-discipline team.
