You're a top producer in your current role You've got at least three years of sales experience with a history of documented sales achievements in a commissioned environment You've also put in your time developing your ability to manage customer portfolios and relationship building You are, simply put, an excellent negotiator and effective closer Your background in wireless telecommunications isn't required, but it will go a long way toward your success here Needless to say, you're organized with the kind of time management skills others can only dream of having You also know how to address highly-complex customer issues with serious professionalism As this role is 70% local and out-of-town travel, you'll be working in the field the majority of the day, and that means a valid license, good driving record, and proof of insurance are all must haves A Bachelor's degree and government sales experience is ideal, but not requiredOkay. You're the rare sales expert who combines a winning approach to solution selling with an eye for details. You'll be responsible for hunting and developing new government business based on T-Mobile's Five Pillars - State, County, City, Education (K12/Public/Higher Ed), and Public Healthcare This role requires daily prospecting within your assigned states; in fact, most GAMs have one to three states in which they prospect This is all about solutions selling, as you focus on implementing static IP, private APN, Persistent Communications, Hosted Mobility Management, Public Safety Solutions, and E-Rate You'll team with lobbyists to move sales forward in highly technical and complex situations Of course, meeting and exceeding monthly sales quota objectives is the name of the game here, and that means always hunting for new business while growing your assigned government accounts We're looking for hunters and closers who understand the importance of closing the small business and leading the account team to close the more complex longer sales cycle opportunities A key part of your role that sets T-Mobile apart is the way you define and deliver post-sales care services to your clients, providing service solutions like billing and expense management, post-sale customer education on service and equipment, implementation, and technical troubleshooting Along the way, you'll be using sales force automation to find new business opportunities, reporting on your sales activities, and providing billing reports and rate plan analysis We'll also depend on you to continuously update your know-how in wireless products, services, industry trends, and your marketplaceWe Take Equal Opportunity Seriously - By Choice T-Mobile USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
