Job Summary: The Government Claims Resolution Specialist is responsible for all aspects of facility and provider billing, research and patient account resolution on government agency insurance pending balances. This position is also the primary resource and contact for government agency payer issues and is responsible for knowing current rules and regulations of each payer.

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of medical terminology class preferred. Previous experience with government insurance billing required. Computer, keyboarding and 10 key training. Bookkeeping knowledge preferred. Must possess positive interpersonal relationship skills and strong communication skills. Teamwork skills required. Needs ability to handle multiple tasks and confidential information. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to memorize significant number of account, claim/edit situations for manual intervention. Decision making skills based on knowledge and best course of action. Basic understanding of CPT and ICD-9 helpful. Full-time Day shift High school diploma or equivalent is required 1-2 years experience is required
