Affairs representative for Gas Transmission and Distribution Project Management work stream projects within the central valley. Track project work and timelines. Implement effective Public Affairs strategies to support the projects, including local agency outreach
and permit support. Coordinate plans for infrastructure upgrade work with Public Affairs field teams, providing regular updates on upcoming work. Provide support for the field representatives on various gas-related projects or issues. Responsible for coordination
with Gas Operations leads for one or more gas regions. Be an effective team member by having the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels and positions.QualificationsRequired:
? BA/BS degree
or equivalent experience
? Minimum of 3 years of experience in Public Opinion Research, Public Policy Development, Government Finance, Fiscal and Regulatory Issues and other public affairs basics.
? Excellent written and verbal
? Knowledge of PG&E?s gas operations, specifically those related to major infrastructure upgrades.
? Government relations experience in the PG&E service territory.Responsibilities? Provide support to one or
more Gas Transmission and Distribution work streams in working with sensitive cities and troubleshooting possible issues with communities.
? Execute strategies and systems to best communicate Gas Transmission and Distribution project schedules and needs with
Public Affairs, Community Relations, State Government Relations, Federal Government Relations and Corporate Relations.
? Act as point of contact for Gas Transmission and Distribution supportive functions to better integrate Public Affairs into planning and
tracking of Gas Operations programs.
? Assist in developing overall communication strategies needed for several Gas Operations functions and identify possible issues that will affect local government audiences. Ensure that the interest of Public Affairs is
being represented in the development of the overall project.
? Support a comprehensive corporate Public Affairs program throughout the PG&E service territory with a focus on gas infrastructure projects.
? Support the development of
government/business/community partnerships with a focus on promoting gas transmission infrastructure upgrade
