Our global capabilities combined with our local touch make us the perfect resource for you in your healthcare career. br   br We are currently recruiting for a B GRANTS SPECIALIST /B position. br   br B As a Grants Specialist your responsibilities include: /B br   br • Review and evaluate grant proposals (Columbia Trust & Charitable Service Trust) to determine feasibility or to identify factors requiring amendment. br • Evaluate application to determine completeness of application insofar as purpose, signatures, financial documentation or additional data requirements in accordance with grant regulations. Advise Manager as to status. Prepare follow-up, as necessary per Manager’s instruction. br • Analyze data, including audit, IRS Form 990, and budget. br • Organize data and write draft summary and ballot for consideration of advisory committee/board of directors. br • Enter applicant and grantee information into computerized tracking programs. br • Prepare letters of notification to grant applicants/recipients and prepare Grant Agreements. br • Track grant recipients progress/expenditure reports and prepare follow-up letters. br • Collect, analyze and interpret data and prepare written reports of narrative, statistical and financial nature. br • Compose letters, memorandums or other correspondence from scratch or rough draft. br • Interact with auditors during annual audit of entities’ records. br • Assist in preparation of annual budget — Charitable Service Trust. br • Maintain grantee databases. br • Assemble data for boards’ of directors meetings. br • Organize and maintain permanent records filing system for each entity. br • Act as liaison with members, donors and others, i.e. oral and written communications including responses to telephone inquiries and requests for materials. br • Review incoming mail and prepare draft responses, where appropriate. br B   /B br B Your qualifications: /B br   br • Possess good organizational, administrative, mathematical, research, report writing and interpersonal skills. br • Ability to work independently, with initiative. br • Good problem solving instincts. br • Effective communication techniques, both oral and written, including good telephone etiquette and language skills. br • Personal computer experience including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel. br • Ability to organize and process large volumes of work to meet deadlines. br • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment requiring ability to multi-task. br • Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment. br • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years college preferred. br • Three or more years of experience in an administrative secretarial/clerical position; br • Non-profit organization accounting experience preferred
