Technical
Able to produce creative design that delivers the creative strategy outlined in the creative brief
Develops the images used in a variety of creative projects, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, catalogs, direct mail, corporate identity and packaging.
Also responsible for the design, layout and formatting of materials. Designs may integrate typographic, photographic, illustrative and graphic elements.
Strong design abilities and proficiency in software applications such as, InDesign, Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
Stays on top of new design ideas and tool
Responsible for maintaining, updating and backing-up our current database.
Ability to project manage
Able to take a design from concept to production
Innovation
Able to produce innovative/leadership design that meets the style guidelines of the brand.
Sources production materials that reflect the brand
Internal Relations
Works collaboratively with Creative Studio Team
Communicates progress with the Brand Services contacts
Able to present concepts to the clients
External Relations
Works with outside suppliers and vendors in the development of point-of-purchase materials, color systems, color cards and printed materials.
Monitors printing quality through on-site press approvals
Required Skills:
BFA in Graphic Design
3 to 5 years of experience
Computer skills: Adobe Indesign, Quark Xpress, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, CS5, Basic Knowledge of HTML, Basic Knowledge Flash & Word and PowerPoint
Creative design process and production experience
Knowledge of print production is essential
Organizational and resource management capabilities.
Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously with fast turnaround
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of design principles: layout, color theory, typography, etc.
Must be able to follow art direction and collaborate on design
