JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Position Summary
Design and production of the firm’s marketing materials.
Reports directly to Director of Art and Technology
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design and production of the firm’s marketing materials with specific focus on web-based and digital products. The products include, but are not limited to, firm newsletters, brochures, pitch materials, ad hoc publications, etc. The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible to develop and maintain production protocols and schedules for collateral materials. Candidate must understand and be able to convert critical marketing collateral for “Mobile Responsive” initiative.
2. The graphic designer is not a managerial position and is responsible for making esthetic, not substantive; decisions regarding the firm’s marketing materials.
3. Performs duties as assigned.
Position Specific Skills and Requirements
The ability to take direction and work independently in pressure situations with meticulous attention to detail. Candidate must be computer and web savvy, and have solid language and graphic design skills. The ability to positively interact with the firm’s attorneys is essential. Proficiency with Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, is essential. Knowledge and use of HTML or HTML5, Flash, and event/social media marketing tools (CRM, Constant Contact, Click Dimensions, Exact Target) is required.
Education and General Requirements
BA, BFA or BS (Computer Science or concentration in digital and web design). Must have an online portfolio.
Candidate must have 2-3 years’ work experience in graphic design and/or production.
