We are seeking candidates who are interested in full-time marketing career opportunities, with a start date of January or August 2017, in our brand new American Greetings Creative Studios at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio.

Our Greeting Card organization offers numerous opportunities to begin your career with a creative and innovative company. These positions may include:

Assisting in the development and execution of business and product plans that drive retail productivity for American Greetings retail partners
Effectively managing planograms and merchandisable space at retail that optimizes AG s profitability
Analyzing sales at the category, product format, and individual SKU level and providing recommendations based on that analysis that support the development of business/product plans for specific occasions (e.g., Mother s Day, Birthdays, Weddings, etc.)
Analyzing product (both AG-owned and competitive) to identify key characteristics/elements/attributes that help explain performance at retail and provide guidance for future merchant and creative efforts
Participating in/contributing to various marketing logistics activities (e.g., product forecasts, inventory management and distribution, etc) to ensure the right amount of product is in the right retail location at the right time to maximize sales and profits for both AG and our retail partners
Participating in a variety of projects as part of American Greetings ongoing Product Leadership efforts

Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have experience and/or an interest in retail and consumer products. Acceptable experience includes internships and class projects. In addition, an interest in how people communicate and connect with one another would be favorable.

- Demonstrated leadership traits and abilities
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary due to the nature and level of interaction with peers, management, and customers
- Strong analytical, problem solving and math skills
- A high level of energy and drive to accomplish goals
- Knowledge of marketing principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as to work independently
- Strong PC skills to include excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Education Required:
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Communications, Journalism, Supply Chain Operations/Management, Marketing Logistics, or related fields of study.
