Large convention Hotel with newly renovated Meeting Space is seeking: Group Sales Manager The primary objective of the Group Sales Manager is to develop, direct, and execute sales and marketing strategies, resulting in optimized profitability for the hotel. The Group Sales Manager must interact with all departments of the Hotel while working in a fast paced, active sales office. Responsibilities: Achievement of individual and team revenue goals through direct sales efforts, solicitation for new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, vendor relations and networking within the local market. Responsible for selling group rooms of anywhere from 10 500 peak nights, no matter the market segmentation. Arrange and conduct site inspections Actively solicit in direct selling, cvb leads, tradeshow representation, etc. Uncover long-term business that meets weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. Respond to lead generators through Cvent, Hotel Planner, Hotel parent Flag sales reps, cvb's, etc. Identifies and analyzes competition both locally and regionally. Conducts sales calls to key prospects and key accounts. Excellent Salary with Bonus potential
