Job Description

Position: Guest Service Agent Supervisor: Front Office Supervisor / Front Office Manager Department: Front Office FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary To assist guests with any needs or questions that arises during check-in and checkout. Essential Functions Greats each guest with a smile and warm welcome. Check In and Out guest while maintaining all standards for arrival and departure. Make sure proper credit is established with all arriving guest before issuing rooms keys, and answer all billing questions for the guest. Solves guest problems, and when unknown use all available recourses to get the information. Communicate guest request to PBX so proper department can be notified. Routinely run reports to stay on top of any new request. Handel cash transactions and maintain a personal bank. Answers phones and relays messages to guests as well as other associates. Brings mail, packages, and messages to guests as needed. Completes a daily shift audit and balances all account settlements, charges, etc. to the property management system. Position Requirements Minimum Knowledge Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, record keeping, or word processing. May have need for good communication skills. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma, basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, and the ability to stand for 8 hours.
