Assumes responsibility/accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment, and other health care team members. Ages served range from newborn to adult. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Active registration for Registered Nurse - Board of Nursing, State of Iowa. 2. An Illinois Registered Nurse Board of Nursing, license must be applied for within 30 days of hire date. 3. One year recent acute nursing experience required; Home Care/Hospice experience preferred. 4. Mental Health experience preferred. 5. Must pass Illinois background check. 6. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. 7. Must have valid drivers license. 8. Acute observation skills required. 9. Must have customer service focus. 10. Must be able to adjust daily patient schedule when unexpected problems occur. 11. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. 12. Intense concentration is necessary to complete the responsibilities of the position. 13. Must be able to respond to stressful situations in a calm and rationale manner. 14. Must be capable of problem solving, critical thinking, and assessment of patient conditions. 15. Maintain confidentiality, demonstrates compassion, empathy, and respect to all customers 16. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment. 17. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. 18. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
