The practice workflow consultant will combine an in depth understanding of the company's applications with an analysis of the customer's practice workflow to facilitate optimizing the use of the application within the practice. Understand the workflow patterns within the typical nephrology practice. Remain current with regulatory and compliance issues that impact the practice of nephrology. Maintain an in depth understanding of the HITSG suite of applications (Acumen, Acumen Mobile, Acumen PQRS). Leverage practice workflow understanding and product knowledge to optimize the utilization of the application for existing customers. Actively participate in HITSG sponsored users groups. Perform product demonstrations for customers. Provide feedback to client services and product development. Function as a clinical subject matter expert for the client services team. Attend trade shows and scientific congresses related to the renal market.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, PA, or NP required. 4 years experience in a Health Care Informatics environment. 5 years experience in Health Care Services. 2 years of clinical experience in nephrology practice is desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Analytical and problem solving ability, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, creativity and business acumen, multi-tasking and project management skills. Demonstrated track record of success and career progression. Most of the work will be performed within an office environment. Up to 75% travel will be required to conduct business at company sites, customer clinics and trade shows.
