The Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport, La.is currently seeking a sharp, hands on, detail oriented and Hilton Brand experienced professional HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER.
The Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport is adjacent to I-20, just minutes away from the Shreveport Regional Airport. The hotel is also convenient to nearby Bossier City, home to Harrahs Louisiana Downs horse racetrack and several casinos. The 142-room Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport opened less than three years ago and offers the latest in services and amenities to both business and leisure travelers. The property also features 27 suites over 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to accommodate conferences and groups of up to 400 people. Conveniently located in Shreveports premier Financial Plaza District, the hotel provides guests with easy access to area businesses and facilities including the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Barksdale Air Force Base, and the Shreveport Convention Center. The Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport is just steps away from Shreveports most popular attractions and hottest venues such as the 8th Air Force Museum and the Louisiana State Fairgrounds.
The ideal candidate we seek for this position would be a LOCAL AREA HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER WHO HAS STRONG LEADERSHIPS SKILLS, GREAT TEAMWORK AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS, ABILITY TO COMMNICATE EFFECTIVELY, AN AWESOME ATTITUDE, BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS, AND A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. BI LINGUAL IS A PLUS.
THE CANDIDATE WOULD NEED TO BE ABLE TO BE ON THEIR FEET 8-10 HOURS A DAY AND BE ABLE TO MOVE SMALL APPLIANCES AND FURNITURE IN THE ROOMS.
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. MUST BE PASSIONATE ABOUT KEEPING EXCEPTIONAL STANDARDS. MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE DISCIPLINECOACHING AND COUNSELING WHILE STILL MOTIVATING EMPLOYEES TO WORK EFFICIENTLY.
BE ABLE TO MANAGE PAYROLL AND EXPENSES WHILE STILL BEING HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE AND ACHIEVING BRAND STANDARDS.
SOMEONE WHO IS VERY ORGANIZED, POSSESSES GREAT TEAMWORK AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS, EXPERIENCED, UNDERSTANDS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HOUSEKEEPING, FRONT DESK AND ENGINEERING, AND DETAIL ORIENTED.
