JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsible for the administration of the COBRA plans and national medical support orders for the Superior Group and SDI and auditing of the Form I-9/E-Verify forms. HR Administrative Assistant is also responsible for various other administrative duties as directed by Company.
Essential Duties (not necessarily in order of importance):
Audit Form I-9s and E-Verify compliance and work with branch offices for any corrections and conduct monthly Form I-9/E-Verify training
Enter Vendor Supplier Questionnaires, Candidate Self IDs, and EEO forms in the applicable software
Administer COBRA: process initial COBRA and qualifying event letters, enrollments, payments, and billing.
Process benefit plan terminations
Assists with reconciling invoices from insurance carriers for health and welfare plans, which include checking bills and health/welfare deductions from the payroll system (i.e., checking for proper plan, coverage type and dependents, and premium amount).
Mail policy, prospectuses, summary plan descriptions, and plan information to employees as required by law.
Coding jobs for AAP purposes based on job descriptions and data entry on new start paperwork
Submit periodic reports to Company as requested.
Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
1 year of prior administrative support or customer service experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Some knowledge of benefit terminology and laws
Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel and have a good aptitude for mathematics.
Must be detail oriented
Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be organized and must be sensitive and respectful to the protocol regarding confidential employee and company information.
Experience with SAP is helpful.
