TITLE:- HR Analyst

DURATION: 18 months contract with an approved extension at the one year anniversary date (18july 16 to 17 Jan 18)

HOURS: 40/per wk 8-5pm

LOCATION: Jackson MS 39201

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

- Provides analytical support in implementing and facilitating Human Resources operational processes, particularly in the area of workforce planning.

JOB DUTIES

- Maintain and administer company-wide organizational design and control process.

- Maintain Career Attrition Retention Evaluation Process.

- Provide analytic support for ad hoc data request.

- Assists with the execution workforce planning and knowledge management programs to: provide analysis, workforce trends, modeling tools, forecasts and other workforce planning support functions.

- Provides HR Business Partner with workforce planning data and reviews headcount status. Creates knowledge management tools and works with customers to help facilitate use of the tools.

- Prioritizes work, effectively handles multiple tasks simultaneously, takes initiative, possesses sound reasoning and problem solving skills, functions as a team member as well as works independently, develops and conducts presentations to management.

- Develops and revises HR administrative procedures and policies when applicable.

- Maintains and distributes up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field) or equivalent work experience.
* Ability to confidentially manage sensitive records of the company.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. SharePoint skills a plus, power user familiar with SharePoint security and SharePoint Designer
* Advanced knowledge of MS Access.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel include but not limited to: database functions, pivot tables and charts, external data import, knowledge of advanced formulas, vlookup, conditional formatting, and filtering, macros.
* Ability transform one or more sets of unorganized data into meaningful reports

* Ability to handle multiple and time sensitive projects.
* Proficient in HRIS applications including reporting and data entry.
* PMP, Six Sigma, PHR/SPHR certifications desired

REQUIREMENTS:
