Facility: Appalachian Regional Healthcare System at Boone
Department: Human Resources - 58180
Responsible for implementing, communicating and administering all employee benefit programs for Appalachian Regional Healthcare System, including but not limited to:Retirement programsSelf-funded health and dental planGroup insurance products (life, disability, and AD&D)Voluntary insurance productsFlexible spending and dependent care accountsWork/Life balance and convenience benefits
Ideal candidate will have Bachelors degree in business related field, or an Associates degree plus two years of HR or benefit experience. Previous experience in managing or administering benefit programs preferred. CEBS certification desired. Working knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, ADA and other federal, state and local regulations that govern benefit programs.
Seeking Benefits Coordinator with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, public speaking skills, and customer service skills. Ability to communicate complicated benefit programs to a wide audience. Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Excel. Must be organized, efficient, detailed, and confident in stressful situations. Full-time Days Associates Degree
