HR Director

This high-impact position offers you the opportunity to drive a solid HR program from a transactional to a strategic approach, building on strengths to make a good thing even better. Leading a multi-state HR team, you will support about 650 employees, providing the strategic vision and getting hands on with the blocking and tackling. We're growing (we just completed an acquisition and have more on the horizon) and we expect this role to grow in scope and responsibility.To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or other related field; SPHR or other professional certification is strongly preferred.
Ten to fifteen years of broad HR experience, preferably in manufacturing environments, including:

Managing people and functions.
Supporting operations in multiple locations and different states.
Working familiarity with all aspects of HR, including employee relations, organizational development, compensation and benefits, recruitment, etc.

Experience driving process and/or system improvements; familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is a strong plus.
Experience developing and implementing strategic HR plans; the ideal candidate will have led an HR organization from a transactional to a strategic partnering model.
