Role Overview

Works with SAP HRMS forms and templates to prepare, initiate, execute, input approved personnel actions including:
hires, rehires, transfers, miscellaneous input, employee relocations, leave of absences, employee separation, salary action forms, exceptions to policy, hiring action forms and organization management. Works with SAP HRMS to create or maintain positions. Acts as liaison between GBU HR and deployed HR to resolve personnel issues. Interprets assignment conditions and allowances for employees on assignment. Initiates BGMC Group for national and international transfers via Assignment Pro. Is responsible for monitoring and maintaining existing work processes, procedures, and ensure policy compliance. Verifies accuracy of work pursuant to established procedures, including post audit of peers work. Identifies issues with documents and resolves them with originator, BGMC, Offers team, GBU and Payroll, as appropriate. Provides completed action documents to Records Team for imaging. Assists with other employment processes as needed. Maintains records and working files. Maintains confidentiality of employee information.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must have the legal right to work in US without sponsorship

- At least 2 years experience working with SAP or a related computer system to record, monitor, and update HR or payroll related information

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of relevant Bechtel HR or payroll experience

- Solid understanding and proficiency utilizing Bechtel HR systems, work processes and policies, preferably with SAP and other proprietary HR systems

- Knowledge of Bechtel functional organizations and organizational structure

- Advanced knowledge of Bechtel HR policies and processes

- Ability to be proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to exercise initiative and make decisions with little or no supervision and be accountable for such actions

- Four year degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in human resources or related field of study
