HR Generalist

Job Description Summary

The HR Generalist is responsible for handling all employee relations matters (investigations, communications, performance development) for the Global Occupier Services group for both property (employees who are assigned to work for client accounts) and corporate Cushman & Wakefield positions in the East region and the leadership platform.

Principle Responsibilities



* Partnering with local leaders to effectively address employee relations issues, including: performance management, employee complaints, investigations

* Coaching managers and employees for effective performance and relationship management

* Developing and delivering training as appropriate, including onboarding, effective employee relations, and HR processes and procedures

* Acting as a liaison between GOS team members and the greater Cushman & Wakefield to ensure alignment and engagement

* Developing onboarding protocol for new hires

* Providing oversight to acquisition process

* Interpreting existing policies and making recommendations for revisions

* Special projects and tasks as assigned

* Travel will be required



Minimum Qualifications



* Bachelor's degree

* 5 years direct employee relations experience

* 2 years HR Generalist experience with non-exempt employee population

* Reliable knowledge employment law for multiple states, as well as Federal employment law

* Experience in real estate or property management industries is a plus

* HRIS systems experience, including Workday



Required Skills and Capabilities



* Excellent oral and written communication capability

* Coaching and dispute resolution skills

* Facilitation skills to execute training
