span Modis Chicago is seeking a polished up and coming HR Generalist for a 6 month+ contract job with a top client of ours located in Downtown Chicago! Our client is a leading provider of innovative digital and cloud services, business solutions and design-led experiences. br   br Job Overview: br Provides day to day HR support for North America groups including but not limited to data maintenance, reporting, employee inquiries, onboarding, off boarding process administration, internal controls, audit support, and project work as needed. br   br Specific Duties include: br •         Coordinate with the HR Managers to collect and complete SAP data entry tasks and transactions. br •         Coordinate with SAP Super user to manage employee data changes and updates through offshore HR Shared Services teams br •         Create and facilitate reporting needs, including regularly scheduled reports (i.e., weekly & monthly) and ad hoc requests br •         Performs regularly scheduled audit activities and ensures timely compliance br •         Assist team in the assessment and standardization of fundamental HR processes and system problems/issues and their implications at multiple levels within the organization br •         Assist with the construction and implementation of new and/or revised data revision, reporting, and/or entry processes. br •         Act as liaison between HR Managers and various departments (i.e., Payroll, ITS, Benefits) to facilitate communications, support business needs and help resolve system discrepancies br •         Ensure policies, procedures and requirements are understood by employees and executed consistently and in the company's best interest. br •         Support employee on-boarding, orientation and exit processes. br •         Assists in facilitating the performance management process for designated teams, including mid-year and annual performance review cycles br •         Prepare, coordinate and support Managers on disciplinary actions, terminations and reductions in force.    br •         Manage monthly peer recognition program. br •         Handle employee inquiries, grievances, and conflict. br •         Participate in and/or drive HR special projects br   br Job Required Qualifications: br • Max of 2-5 years of experience br • Bachelor’s degree or relevant on the job experience preferred br • Functional knowledge of compensation, benefits, employee relations, staffing, recruiting, performance management and professional development. br • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Visio br &bul
