Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Compliance, Employee and Labor Relations, this position is responsible for supporting BCHO's Human Resources compliance program and ensuring alignment with federal, state and local laws and regulations. This position acts as the main point of contact for the full ACA life-cycle.

This is a high-volume; highly visible role and the incumbent must exhibit exceptional customer service skills, excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment handling competing priorities.

Essential Functions:
Manages the life-cycle of ACA
Ensure BCHO's policies are in compliance with all federal, state and local laws
Serves as the point of contact for all Joint Commission request and audits

Additional Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance with EEO/AAP standards, laws and regulations including manager training
Manages licensure reporting and audit requirements
Performance management data entry and reporting
Responsible for running and creating various reports out of the HRIS system (Peoplesoft) for OIG/GSA/SAM as well as new hire reporting to EDD
Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Minimum Experience: Three years of experience and knowledge supporting all areas of compliance, including but not limited to; company policies, licensure, ACA, EEO/AAP, performance management and local, state and federal laws regulations and ordinances. Experience in a union environment is helpful, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of employment, federal and state employment laws and regulations. Experience navigating, verifying and extracting data from an HRIS system. Ability to adapt well to changing priorities, deadlines and directions. Ability to follow set procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data. Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Demonstrates reliability and professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
