HR Generalist - ReqCode T541169

Responsible for the recruitment, employee/labor relations, career counseling and compensation for assigned allied health and support departments of the Medical Center.
Serves as an internal consultant for the development of staffing and retention programs.
Facilitates new employee orientation sessions, peer review committee meetings, career fairs and related programs as required.
Must demonstrate current knowledge of labor and employment law as well as be versed in hospital-specific regulatory requirements such as JCAHO, OSHA and Department of Health.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Health Care Administration or equivalent.
A minimum of three years of progressively more responsible generalist experience within an acute-care hospital required.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Experience working with bargaining units preferred.
PC skills required (MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word)
Peoplesoft HRIS System, Hodes Talent Mgmt and E-time proficiency preferred.
