Job Description

Quad/Graphics is seeking a \"hands-on\" HR Generalist responsible for operational HR functions in the Taunton, MA Retail Plant. The successful candidate will support the goals of the HR division, ensuring responsive and value added services to all employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of generalist functions, including, but not limited to:

- Conducting orientation and documentation of new employees
- Assisting employees with guidance on a variety employee relation matters
- Benefits administration, including processing enrollments, benefit changes and answering employee inquiries
- Completing reports i.e. head count, turn-over, and other ad hoc reports
- Conduct exit interviews
- Develop and maintain procedures aimed at improving the quality and delivery of human resources programs/services
-- Act as back up in absence of Human Resources Manager

-- Coordinating all aspects of recruitment, including job postings, developing and utilizing screening processes effectively, sourcing recruitment methods, interviewing candidates, making appropriate candidate selections, and providing employment offers
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks
- Other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a thorough understanding of Human Resources, employment laws and regulations and at least one to three years progressive HR experience is required, 3 or more years experience preferred. A degree in HR or related field is preferred. PHR certification is also preferred. A strong organizational ability and self-directed drive to complete tasks and projects is required. The successful candidate must be a positive, credible professional who is also an effective problem solver with strong communication skills; accurate and attentive to detail, customer oriented, able to handle multiple priorities with deadlines, and have intermediate knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint). Peoplesoft and ATS experience such as Lumesse a plus. Strong partnering skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment are essential. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
