SUMMARY:

A member of the HR Information Systems team providing HR support in accordance with established Human Resources procedures. Demonstrates the philosophy of the sponsoring Lutheran congregations, through upholding the LSS mission of Older Adults Living Life to the Fullest , core values and code of conduct. Responsibilities: Provide HR support in a shared service environment to include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assists in the daily operation of the Human Resources department by responding to phone calls, e-mails and providing information and assistance to our customers (employees, applicants, outside companies, etc.)

* Utilize HRIS system to generate and distribute reports on an as needed basis

* Document processes and update procedures as needed

* Perform regular data integrity audits in Workday and identify opportunities for improvement

* Maintain compliance with industry-specific certification requirements by performing weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits of licensing and eligibility

* Assist with the coordination of the application process by responding to inquiries, reviewing the status of applications and assisting recruiting and hiring managers with system-related questions

* Coordinate and monitor all logistical steps leading up to new employees hire. Supports key HR processes such as I-9 compliance, background checks, E-Verify, employee badges and employee data management.

* Ensures data integrity while maintaining employee information in accordance with the HR Shared Services program guidelines.

* Develop, maintain, and deliver education and training materials to end users through the form of Job Aids, Lunch-n-Learns, Webinars, and in-house training sessions.

* Serve as a resource to end-users by answering general questions, providing login support, troubleshooting issues and offering procedural guidance.

* Assists with special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Bachelor s degree preferred with a concentration in Human Resources

* Prior Human Resources experience and knowledge of HR functions preferred

* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

* Previous HRIS experience required.

* Workday System experience preferred.

* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

* High degree of professionalism, confidentiality and objectivity required.

* Ability to read, analyze and interpret general and professional documents.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.

* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
