Position Summary
Uses skills as an experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices and organization policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals that are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies or procedures for possible implementation.

Provides professional support in the research, development, review, and analysis of personnel policies and other employment-related human resources policies, programs, guidelines, and procedures. Ensures that all human resources personnel policies and other documents are regularly reviewed and revised as appropriate to comply with all Federal and State regulations and University policies.

Participates in complex systemwide policy reviews and leads less complex reviews. Interprets existing policies and identifies issues that may necessitate revision. Coordinates with campus and laboratory human resources staff and other departmental offices to communicate findings and revisions that result from policy reviews.
