This position reports into the Global Operations Manager within the Data Center Sales Learning and Development Team. This team is chartered to deliver internal and channel business partner sales training programs to drive data center sales growth.

We are seeking collegiate intern(s) to help our Global Sales Learning and Development Teams on various projects to tackle our goals of enabling our Lenovo Business Partners and Lenovo internal sellers through creative an innovative training solutions. Candidates should have a passion for the IT industry and an interest in creating enablement tools to help professional salespeople sharpen their knowledge and skills.



Intern(s) will work on projects that may include: event planning, graphic design, project management, communications, instructional design, learning needs assessment, customer satisfaction and feedback, analytics and metrics, and other key pieces of our training and enablement initiatives. Upon completion of projects/assignments, intern(s) will have the opportunity to present their work back to leadership and executives.

Position Requirements

Basic instructional design and/or graphic design and project management fundamentals required. Must be comfortable working in groups and sharing ideas to come up with creative solutions that you will present back to the team and executives.



- Currently pursuing or completed an undergraduate degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Graphic Design, Corp Education, or Adult and Continuing Ed

- Technology industry knowledge preferred

- Experience with adult learning theory and principles preferred

- Practical experience in instructional design and/or graphic design experience

- Experience with instructional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, etc. a plus

- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others at all levels within the team

- Excellent project planning, organizing and management skills

- Excellent verbal/ written communication skills are required

- Must be a results-driven, team player

- Excellent presentation skills
