span Summer may be coming to an end, so now is the perfect time to jump into a great opportunity!!! br   br Our client in the Nassau County are is looking for a professional to work in the Human Resource department handling Benefits and HRIS programs. br The right candidate is a candidate with Excellent MS Excel Skills!!! br   br Duties: br 1. Resolves employee complaints related to health and welfare plans and 401(k) plan. br 2. Acts as a resource for Payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with Benefit and HR policies and regulations. Keeps Manager advised of potential problem areas and recommends/implements solutions as appropriate. br 3. Develops a solid working knowledge of administration, design and financial aspects of the company's benefits platform in order to maintain databases for tracking benefit costs. br 4. Acts as liaison with various insurance carriers and fosters effective relationships with client representatives. br 5. Processes monthly self-billing and reconciles vendor invoices in a timely manner.  Conducts monthly audits to catch discrepancies from previous months. br 6. Prepares and sends out monthly intercompany recharges. br 7. Notifies the COBRA administrator on a weekly basis of terminations, COBRA qualifying events and severance information.   br 8. Runs weekly reports for retiree eligibility and new hire enrollment dates.   br 9. Resolves eligibility discrepancies passed by Health and Welfare vendors. br 10. Project Manager for all Open Enrollment auditing of data feeds into payroll system, enrollment system as well as to individual vendors. br 11. Audits employee benefit deductions and corrections with Payroll on a semi-monthly basis. br 12. Assists with a variety of projects including but not limited to plan analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new benefit plans and programs, integration of acquired groups, divestitures, etc. br   br Requirements: br • Experience with writing reports and extracting data from HRIS systems br • Experience with Benefit Plan administration br • Developing written/verbal skills br • Strong math skills br • Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel skills (i.e. merge reports, pivot tables) br • Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems – Knowledge of ADP, Oracle and Hyperion are a plus br • Familiar with online enrollment systems – Knowledge of bswift is a plus br • Attention to detail while auditing/testing data br • Reasoning ability, problem solving and analytical skills br • Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands. br • Ability to deliver on short notice, good attitude and customer service oriented. br   br If you are interested, please APPLY TODAY!
