Position Summary: Facilitates and supports key processes and accountabilities within Human Resources and Payroll. People or Process Management Responsibility: Projects - 25%, Support of HRIS Applications - 55%, Monitoring of HRIS Applications - 20% Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Ensuring security of HR and Payroll information through established security protocol Prepares reports and ad hoc queries for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within Human Resources and from users in other departments. Work with the team in developing training and documentation of system use for HR and Payroll users. Works with team in researching new techniques in the development of systems and maintains knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to HRIS. Analyze HR and Payroll processes and make recommendations for improvements. Resolves HRIS system issues, acts as \\"troubleshooter\\" for HR and Payroll, works with IT department closely. Review system Audits on a regular basis Monitors servers for system issues Assists in installing programs based on system upgrades Other projects or duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical skills. HSD or GED Ability to work 3:00pm - 11:00 pm - Sun-Thur Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of the organization. Strong customer orientation, sense of urgency in getting things done, and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects. Ability to handle confidential material and details in getting things done, and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects. Highly detailed and results oriented. Ability to multi-task and flexible to adapt to the environment. Minimum 0 to 3 years experience in the following areas: report writing, querying, data analysis, and training. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field. Knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and terminology. Proficiency in HRIS systems Kronos and UltiPro. Proficiency in reporting system Crystal, Cognos, and SSRS. Proficient in SQL and various reporting tools.
