Job Description

Job Purpose The BILINGUAL Spanish Specialist I serve as main point of contact for all associates to answer Associate Relations, Benefit, Compensation, Leave of Absence, Payroll, and HR Policy and Procedure related questions. Resolve moderately complex to difficult issues with minimal guidance from HR Leadership. Job Responsibilities Through telephone or email support, resolves questions as described in job summary with goal at resolving question or issue at first incoming call (Tier 1). Educates associates on company practices and tools, such as company intranet, manager and employee self service vehicles (Tier 0) to encourage associates to resolve and process future questions on their own, enabling reduction of call volume to support more complex questions and issues. Uses fundamental HR knowledge to research and resolve moderately detailed and complex issues that were unable to be resolved during first incoming call. Triages more complex questions and issues outside per SOP guidelines. Conducts general HR administration functions, including but not limited to processing various HRMS employee transactions. Works with subject matter experts or Centers of Expertise (Tier I) to resolve inquiries. Using excellent communication, customer service and negotiating skills, provide associates accurate, consistent and timely responses and explanations regarding HR related questions and issues. Focused on setting expectation level for associate and demonstrating customer driven ethics based upon set SOPs. Performs additional HR tasks and/or special projects, as assigned. Job Requirements Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent applicable Human Resources experience. Minimum one year of HR experience. Minimum two years customer service experience. Fully BILINGUAL both written and verbal in Spanish/English. Ability to comprehend and interpret HR and/or corporate policies and procedures. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from associates, co workers and/or supervisors, as well as ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to comprehend and create instructions, short correspondence. Ability to communicate with associates of all levels. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations intermediate analytical skills. Demonstrates organizational, prioritization, multi tasking and follow up skills. Ability to learn and use technology to perform job requirements Other Requirements Must perform the job safely and utilize proper safety techniques and use of equipment when appropriate. Travel Requirements Minimal travel required.
