* JOB SUMMARY:
* Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive HVAC Controls/BMS maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Demonstrates the ability to write and analyze complex SQL queries, skills in applications design, workflow development, database configurations, escalations, and conditional expressions.
* Vocational School four year program graduate or an Associate Degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field. Degree may be offset by four years experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems. Certifications and/or formal training in either Johnson Controls or Honeywell building Management Systems.
* SPECIAL SKILLS:
* Good interaction and verbal and written communications skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment and maintain an effective functioning team. Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software. Knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration theory and equipment.
* Driver s License current and valid New Jersey driver s license. Employees must adhere to all procedural guidelines in HR Policy 1-13 including demonstrating an acceptable driving record for the duration of their employment as long as driving continues to be a responsibility of the job.
